A little bit of magic
The emoji under the cursor lifts, tilts toward it and catches a highlight — a real Direct2D shader. Hover me.
Emoji Panel is a fast, native emoji picker for Windows 11. Press Ctrl+Shift+Space in any app, type a word in any of 28 languages, and the emoji lands right where you were typing.

This is a live replica of the panel. Search, hover, click — the emoji is copied.
How it works
No mouse trips to a tiny button and no scrolling through hundreds of faces. Emoji Panel opens next to the text cursor in whatever app you are using.
The panel appears by the caret in a chat, browser, editor or anywhere else you type. The shortcut can be changed.
English and other languages at once, with typo tolerance and :shortcodes:.
The emoji is typed straight into the app. Shift + Enter inserts and keeps the panel open; Ctrl + Enter only copies.

Speed
Emoji Panel lives in the tray with its window and search index already in memory. Pressing the shortcut does not start anything — the panel simply appears.
Search
Type the way you think: in your language, in English, with a :shortcode: or with a typo. Russian and English keyboard layouts are corrected automatically.
Plain English names and keywords

By default Emoji Panel searches in the languages of your installed Windows keyboard layouts. Add more in Settings — the interface language stays separate.
Flags
The Windows emoji font has no country flags, so 🇺🇸 shows up as two letters. Emoji Panel draws Fluent-style flags in their place — right inside the panel.

A separate, small extension for Chrome, Edge, Brave and Firefox replaces the same letter pairs with flags on any website. Copying still gives the original Unicode text, and the page never leaves your computer.
